Focus
NALANS considers manuscripts that:
- develop theoretical, conceptual, or methodological frameworks in narrative studies, literature, linguistics, and language education;
- present empirical research that advances knowledge in these fields;
- examine issues of current and emerging significance through critical, analytical, or interdisciplinary approaches;
- explore innovative educational policies, programmes, practices, and evaluative strategies;
- contribute to the study of language, literature, narrative, culture, translation, and pedagogy.

Types of Submissions
NALANS welcomes the following types of manuscripts:
Research Articles
Original research articles that make a significant contribution to narrative studies, literature, linguistics, language education, or related interdisciplinary fields.
Theoretical Essays
Conceptual, critical, or analytical papers that address current issues through a theoretical lens and contribute to debates in narrative and language studies.
Review Articles
Reflective Response Paper: Short articles including comprehensive, critical, and balanced reflection on a specific topic, field, theory, or body of research.
Systematic Review and Meta-analysis: Submissions based on a clearly defined research question and conducted using transparent, reproducible methods, complying with the PRISMA guidelines.
